Have got my head round having "the coil" fitted but they gave me leaflets tonight one bout IUD and the other bout IUS, now i'm totally confused, PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I've got an ordinary coil and it's great. It was uncomfortable to get fitted, but now it's fine. It's easy to get removed and my last one caused no probs at all.
