its doing the rounds as usual but this time in teh circle of friends that DS1 and 2 mix with. So, what are the warning signs? can u carry the "disease" without actually getting it? and if so can u pass it on? reason being...i held a poxy baby and wondered if i could pass the pox on?

I think if you have had it, you can't pass it on.
Symptoms of CP in my DC were upset stomach, slight temperature and clingy for a day or two before the spots appeared.
DD was in contact with CP at least 3 times over the years before she finally caught it.

I would say it is worth getting some medicine in, because when the spots appear they literally appear before your eyes. My ds spent a day beng grizzly and clingy, I noticed 2 spots on his back, put him in the bath and by the time he got out he had about 10 spots on him. GP recommended piriton and calomine lotion.

If they do get chicken pox, piriton syrup for children is very good to stop the itching, just check first with the pharmacist.

fantastic ty for that

they are both fine with piriton, had it b4
