Sick of this bloomin' cold - how to cure blocked ears/sinuses

Have had a cold now for about two weeks. It has got to the stage where nothing I can do clears my nose.
Sorry if TMI - My nose feels full, I blow into a tissue it doesn't clear, I sniff it doesn't clear.
Tonight I have felt my ears block up now and everything sounds muffled.

Any quick cures appreciated. TIA

i've got it too vicks vapour rub is quite good rubbed around the bridge of your nose and although it says 'do not place in nostrils' i do and it feels better

mine now has developed into a bad old man's cough
