dd age nearly 3 has recently developed dry patches on her nose and under her eye. Not sore but it looks as if it is and she seems pale and drawn. She's tiring easily too, doc has said not to worry but keep an eye on her and prescribed E45 cream. She hasn't been herself since half term and has a urine infection which was treated. Any suggestions on anything homeopathic or otherwise?

Hi I've got a 17 week old with eczema and have been prescribed various creams etc. I've got a post asking whether homeopathy or osteopathy is the way to go because we've seen an osteopath who says they can ease the symptoms. No one has responded yet. I know a homeopath who has suggested we use the most natural products possible like sunflower oil after her bath and we've been using calendula cream to help with the dry itchy bits which has worked (when stuff the doctors prescribed didn't) I found this website really helpful and interesting www.theremustbeabetterway.co.uk

You might be interested to know that E45 has lanolin in which is a know irritant. In fact, many of the creams that the doctors prescribe have petrochemicals in them which are also known to irritate the skin. I found they all made the problem worse.

I'm not sure about the connection between the eczema and the lack of energy so if I were you I'd actually go and see a homeopath because they'll look at the causes rather than just treat the symptoms.

thanks. I will look at the website once they're in bed. I think you're right about visiting the homeopath. I've recently moved to Tiverton in Devon. Anyone know of a good homeopath in the area?
