Low neutrophils advice - blood test

I received all of my past blood results today as I am tracking my thyroid levels.

Over the last 8 years I've had 6 full blood counts done and on each one I've come back with low neutrophils. Lowest was 1.4, highest 2. All of them have a exclamation mark and "out of range" next to them. But not once has the GP mentioned it to me at all. Not googling but wondering if it could indicate anything?

I would ask about a referral to haematology. I had low neutrophils but at 0.3, then up to 1, then "normal" range
Diagnosed with autoimmune neutropenia - although not to alarm you it's astonishingly rare in adults, usually found in children who grow out of it by primary age!

Posted too soon! Depends on area but 2 - 2.5 is generally seen as normal
Some people do have lower counts which is normal for them and causes no issues
I was getting constant infections and my count wasn't being picked up on 50+ blood tests and it took 8 years for it to be spotted
I now inject GCSF which stimulates my bone marrow to produce more, my body produces antibodies that kill off the neutrophils

I do seem to catch everything going, especially chest infections.

The ref ranges given on my blood tests say the lower end is 2.5. I don't know why the GP has never mentioned it, its flagged up on every blood test i've had.

Small bump

I saw my GP today. She said she had noticed but they are always low so she doesn't think it's anything to be worried about. She said my alk phos is always high too and my bilirubin. Then said this is why they don't like giving the actual results to people.

I came away feeling a bit silly

Don't feel silly at all! Honestly I wish I had seen my results earlier and spotted it
It's good they've noticed though so it means if anything goes abnormal results for you, they should see that too
