I had root canal treatment about 8 years ago (back molar) and it was fine until it fell out last week.
Tuesday this week my own dentist (not the one that did the orginal...that was overseas) cemented the tooth back on.
Yesterday it fell out again.
Visited emergency dentist at surgery today who is a German and advises me that the way to do this properly is not to cement again. Says that German way is to drill in to old root canal and get a new "tooth" with post which will fit in there.
Would love some opinions on what I'm being told. I know this will cost circa £1k.
Thanks
