3rd set of jabs - can it cause frequent poos?

DS2 had his 3rd set of jabs on tuesday morning, since then he has been quite cranky and doesn't like be put down. He has also had several poo's a day where as before he was pooing every 2 -3 days. He is exclusivley breastfed.
Is it normal then to have lots of poo's per day post jabs? Or is there some other explanation?
Sorry if I don't make any sense, he needs changing again!

hello... my DD1 had her 3rd set on tuesday and she was the same. she only ever does one poo a day (formula baby) and managed 3 on tuesday/wednesday and they were horribly runny. i found that she had a sore tummy from the jabs - it happened on the 2nd set and she was a bit vommy, so i guess it gives them a bit of a tummy upset which makes them liable to bum explosions.

hopefully your DS has stopped pooing by now!!

My ds ha just had 3rd jabs (yesterday) and has been soooooo clingey, high temp even after calpol and 2 out of three of the jab sites are swollen and sore. No runny nappies yet but I think all babies react slightly differently. Hope your lo is on the mend now the jabs are the lesser of two evils anyway. ( says the mother who's been ready to whisk lo off to casualty all day!!!)

I didn't notice him having a temp however he did go off his milk last weekend and his reflux increased. He has only just started feeding properly again and returning to his usual self, he is still pooing a few times a day, although its not a huge qty each time.
