Hi - any advice from anyone who is on the Depo injection for contraception? I was on the pill for years before babies and now need a new contraception as with two small kids there is no way I can remember to take the pill every day. Any advice on offer, pro and cons etc
Thanks so much, Jo.

It doesn't get very good press on this site.

FWIW, when I went for contraception counselling, I got to see a proper GYN. She vetoed Depo as a possibility for me the instant she found out I had PND.

It's a no no if you have depressive tendancies, apparently.

oh I hadn't heard that. That's good to know, guess I may flag this then as my moods are up and down enough as things are at the mo. Thanks.
