SPD or down to stitches?

Hello mumsnetters, I wonder if anyone has any experience of this or can help. I had my baby over a year ago. I had a third degree tear (oh lucky me) and afterwards had really bad SPD- probably due to the fact my baby was rubbing on my pelvis for about 3 hrs. Anyway to cut a long story short I couldnt walk for about 4 months without pain, couldnt bend over etc. Things are better now but still have pain, especially when I change from sitting down to standing up, feel a sort of tugging pain. Now I'm wondering whether this ongoing pain is down to the SPD or is actually where I've been stitched up to tight... Dont want to have stitching redone if this isnt whats causing it. Have seen gynae consultant who said everythings healed well so why am I still in pain? Does anyone have any experience of this? Am starting to feel like a freak...
