Week 11 is 'read the box'

Roadmap for Success Both the Ingredient List and the Nutrition Facts panel should be used in conjunction with one another, as each provides different types of information. When used together, they provide a window into the quality of the food, the quality of the ingredients, and the nutritional balance of the food.

We are continuing with:
1 drinking water
2 getting better sleep
3 moving more
4 keeping a food journal
5 being positive
6 taking a multivitamin
7 having a buffer zone between outside and inside
8 eating more veg
9 finding time alone
10 stretching

Communication, you say quirky ?? Yup, here too. Glad something more positive might be happening for you. Problem at DS's (school) nursery is that they are REALLY not accustomed to working mothers - therefore I am by default a Bad Mum because obviously I never spend any time with DS and also have no interest in his education. Though my biggest ire is reserved for the fact that they thought giving Smarties to a dairy intolerant child was a good move.
I need to revisit positivity week!

That would make me fume too DrDiva! Dd1 had a cow's milk allergy and we had people trying to feed her milk chocolate, hobnobs etc. I couldn't believe they didn't know these things contained dairy even if they were not a drink of milk. I'm talking about family members and baby sitters. This half term have been phoned for loose stools and sticky eyes with dd2, both are part of her DS, so not norovirus or conjunctivitis . We weren't phoned on Friday, so far so good... but I am reserving judgement. I think they phone me because they know I'm not working. Angry

Lol at a fist! My bra was pitiful too, we couldn't even work out what size it was, the label was so faded! I'm so glamorous...

Oddsocks glad to see you back, hope you are recovering. Been a bit crap with stretching this week, house has been redecorated so not much space to stretch properly ( bit of an excuse I know ) anyway, downstairs is done, just need to put it all back in order now and create some space! I even have an 'inversion table' that you can hang upside down on that I haven't been able to use for a while so looking forward to be able to use that too.

So great to hear all your stories and experiences, it sometimes feels like one step forwards two steps back!

Reading the box would have gone well if I hadn't kept scoffing biscuits all week. I bought them for the workmen but they haven't touched them! They must be cancelling out all the healthy food.

quirky my best one ever was when a a party DS picked up an egg canapé thing, and there was "NOOOOO!" From across the room, and a kind of slowmo sideways jump from a guest, hand out reached to snatch it from him. "er, what are you doing?" I asked. "It's egg! He can't have it! You said he can't have dairy!" Yes, that's right, he can't have milk based products. Eggs are fine, thanks. "no, eggs are dairy."
I refrained from asking her a) why it was her business to monitor ds's diet when I was right beside him, and b) which breed of cows lays eggs?

Oh god, the eggs are dairy thing! But milk is in so much in one form or another. .

Dairy and soya. In EVERYTHING. Fortunately he can now have processed soya. Makes life slightly easier, though I restrict it generally.

Yy, we used to have no dairy, no soya. Luckily, dd1 is now 10 and grew out of it.
