mine do, but I have Hyper mobile joint syndrome apparently which means that my joints flew too much sometimes and that means I'm a clicky person

TinsellyRhino · 02/01/2007 08:59

fio I have a buggered knee too, chondromalatiapatella or something which just means the fluid that my kneecap floats in is going crusty, like fluid with bits in so it creaks when ever I bend it and sometimes gets imflamed and sore

It's not that loud when my joints crack misdee

one of my knees is very clicky if its been in the same position for longer than 5mins. one of my hips clicks as well. when i bend to shave my legs or cut my toenails one of my hips gets a shooting pain and clicks as well.

Jelley · 02/01/2007 09:21

I'm hypermobile but my joints very rarely crack. They just overextend and look weird.
I'm starting to get problems with my knees, too.

aliceband · 02/01/2007 09:36

i thought cracking was just air

I was born with a dislocated hip (not discovered until I was 11 months old) and it often cracks very loudly when I get up from a chair particularly if I've been sat awkwardly. Apparently the socket is shallower than normal. Doesn't often give me trouble though.

oooh very timely thread,my knees have started squeeking,I only notice it when I sit in the loo.Very strange,no pain just squeeky/creaky noise.Have started to take oils to lubricate my old joints lol!

I went to look into clicky hips when a teenager and the docs wouldn't x-ray me as twas so close to ovaries etc. Just someting I live with now. I would love to know what causes it.
