Chemo and Chickenpox

does anyone know how long after possible infection you have to wait before you can see someone whos having chemo?

When DD1 caught chicken pox, my mum was half-way through her Chemotherapy course. In the end, we had to avoid my mum for about a month - a couple of weeks after DD1 had it, DS1 then went down with it.

dd hasn't got chicken pox but it been going round her nursery.

mil has decided that we can visit because the risk is worth it, DD is better therapy,
