whats wrong with ds2? does anyone know about appendicitis?

ds2 (7) has been off his food since christmas day.
for the last 3 days he has has had tummy ache on and off.

last night after being fine all afternoon he said his tummy was hurting again but now on the right hand side.

i immediately wondered if it could be his appendix but he slept all night and got up o.k this morning.
now, this afternoon he is just really ultra touchy, whinging about everything.

so, it wouldn't be appendicitis would it really?

I believe it can 'grumble' although have no experience. Hope someone comes along with more experience. Hope he feels better soon.
