And if not, any suggestions as to what will? (for my DH's sake really!!). Going on the Pill didn't help and just screwed my cycle up, and i find evening primrose oil useless! Once again i'm at that stage of the month where anything and everything will irritate me to the point of the red mist descending and picking a fight with DH, and as we've only just got married, i fear i can't carry on with this much longer! (i did suggest him getting me pregnant again - i was 'normal' for nearly a year with DS - but i think i've scared him off with my raving looniness) Thanks, NSNM x

Hi, I take Magnesium-OK tablets which have maganesium and calcium which are supposed to be good but they also have huge doses of Vit B6 and B12, which are probably what really does the job, given the quantities. I went from horrible periods with achy limbs, sore back, sore boobs, and sooo grumpy, to hardly noticing it happening. I can really tell when I haven't taken them for a month. No idea what the long term effects of such high doses of B vits are, but hopefully less drastic a solution than pregnancy

I've heard before about B vitamins, but i can't take them due to being on other tablets for a prolapsed disc and a torn ligament in my shoulder. Thanks for replying though. Any other suggestions?

Wine.

Sorry, no real ones. Gosh though, given the other physical problems you've got, I'm not surprised you're irritable. I'd be really p*sd off - with or without hormones.
