Constipation and sore willy

Hi, a quick plea to see whether anyone has experienced the same and what I can do to help my poor ds who seems to be a bit constipated and have a sore tip on his willy! I am breastfeeding, but the boy only poos every three days and gets very grumpy the day before whilst working up to it, he also has a red, and I think, sore tip of his willy - perhaps dry skin? Anyone else experiwnce the same?

How old is he? Prune juice - You can either drink it or give it diluted to him. My little one used to be the same, the longest he went without a poo was 10 days! He was so grumpy until he'd gone....

Thanks, he is 4 months, I will give it a whirl if it gets any worse - 10 days my word... I bet he was quite heavy during that time!

Massage his tummy and cycle his legs - I did that after my DS hadn't pooed for a couple of days and seemed in pain and I actually watched the poo come out as I did it (sorry too much information!)

Can you put nappy rash cream on his willy?
