Embarrasing problem

I've changed my name as I'm embarrassed by this problem.

Basically every pair of knickers/pyjama bottoms I wear tends to start smelling of urine, knickers are not too bad as obviously they're changed daily but I sometimes wear pyjama bottoms for 2 days of so and they start to smell quite badly of urine and general 'smellyness".

Any idea what could be causing this? we don't have a shower but I bathe nightly, I tend not to dry myself but just walk around in a dressing robe until I dry naturally, could this be what's causing it?

Apart from this I don't suffer with BO or any other 'bodyily smells', just this.
Anyone else suffer from this or experienced it?
Any help appretiated.

has it just started, could you have an infection or something? and is it a urine smell or just smelly crutch. if its just smely crutch its probably a hormone surge, ive had it

have you thought about your pelvic floor? I tend to be OK in the day too, but the first indication I've been neglecting my pf exercises is what you describe. I wore a tenalady pad with pants for a while while I got my muscles stronger, and it got better after about a week, but I have to keep them up

Had similar problem before DS was born, had to change PJ's every other day. I think my pelvic floor was too slack. Since he was born I've been walking loads as I can't drive and that (touch wood) seems to have done the trick. How are you fitnesswise??

Sounds like your just having a bit of leakage... try wearing little pads and doing your pelvic floor exercises. Mine were awful after DS - I could even sneeze or cough without a trickle But ive been persitant with the exercises, and it's got alot better.

Since having children I sometimes get the same prob with PJ's I think as you dont wear underwear under them and they have a seam rather than gusset they rub on your bits and pick up the odours - I use nappisan in my wash which keeps them fresh.

As for knickers I always wear panty liners - although this can cause a bit of a Bridget Jones moment with spontaneous fumblings

Get checked you have'nt got a urine infection etc.

Try using some 'Simple' wipes or femine moist wipes when you go to the toilet

And do your pelvic floor exercises!

Btw no need to be embaressed, its estimated that 50% of sani-towels are bought for bladder weakness reasons
