What could this be?

DD (7 months) has been ill for the past two weeks with projectile vomiting and then a cold and nasty cough. She is pretty much over the vomitting and back on full strength milk again today and her cough and cold seem to be easing a little.

The GP said last week that it is probably a virus and will pass, but this morning when I changed her nappy first thing she had a couple of sp[ots on her bottom, no signs of nappy rash, just the spots. When I changed her nappy a couple of hours later there were about a dozen all over the nappy area, including the small of her back. She also has a pimply (sp) rash on her chest and under her chin, but these spots are much smaller. Any clue what this could be? Is it just the virus or something else?

Thanks.

I don't know if it's likely to be any of these, but I would use google to look up pictures of

Scarlet fever, scarletina, chicken pox, measles, hand foot and mouth.

It sounds alittle like chicken pox.

Thanks - no more spots yet thankfully!

Dd's hand foot & mouth started a bit like that but I guess it could be almost anythong (she says, helpfully).
