sticky eyes

ds (almost 4) has woken this morning with runny nose and sticky eyes. how do i know if it's conjunctivitis? and what can i do for it?
also how do i fins out whether there is a chemist open anywhere today??
oh and merry christmas everyone...

Use cooled, boiled water with a pinch of salt.
With a cotton wool ball wipe each eye with solution. Use each cotton ball for one wipe only.
Try phoning your local police station to find your emergency pharmacy.
