I went to the doctors...i do not have piles (hoorah!) but i do have a nasty fissure, which she said needs to be allowed to heal. I need to get my IBS under control to do it- so beer or bread for me.

And the doctor was very lovely, and i almost didn't mind her poking me (almost)

Surely you mean NO BEER & BREAD!! Glad it's put your mind at rest. Good luck with getting the IBS under control. It's a pain in the arse isn't it - no pun intended!

Balls- wishful thinking. Yes, NO beer or bread.

Horrible enough, but thank goodness it's not anything worse.

How's that Xmas song go?

"...so have yourself a very lactulose Christmas..."

DimpledThighs · 22/12/2006 15:26

oh well it could have been worse.

There are lots of good wheat free breads and the pasta is really good once you get in the swing of it. Get a rice cooker for christmas!

Also make it your duty to research lots of wine and cider over the festive period to identify your new tipple - all in the name of reserach of course!

I'll drink for you, DG!

Hope you feel better soon.
