No real reason for posting other than to share my misery with you all!!!

I have a stinking cold, cystitis, thrush and, joy of joys, got AF this morning!!!!

DD (3.5) has a cold and is clinging to me like a limpit and DS (3mths) had jabs yesterday and has a temperature and cold and just wants cuddles.

Have managed to unattach myself for 1/2 hr during naps to come and make myself feel better playing on MN.

wow

Hope you feel better soon. Is there any way to can get them to watch telly while you lie on the sofa with hotwater bottle and blanket?

Flumpybumpy · 22/12/2006 11:37

DD has woken up and is currently watching Ice Age so might have a few more minutes peace until DS wakes up!!

Hugggggggssssssssssss

JessaJingleBells · 22/12/2006 12:26

Massive sympathy...thrush and cystitis at the same time is pretty bloody miserable...

Flumpybumpy · 22/12/2006 13:47

I got the cystitis first and I think the thursh has come one because I am poorly and run down.

Couldn't believe it when I got AF this morning too!!!

Would just like to add that I am now feeling dizzy and sick.

DH has gone to his works Xams do and both DD & DS in bed. Sitting here feeling really sorry for myself

Would love to crash out in bed but DS due a feed at 10:30pm and scared I won't wake up again. (DH usually does this feed so I can sleep)

You poor thing. Are you on any medication?

Flumpybumpy · 22/12/2006 19:26

No, none.

I think I have caught every germ and bug going.

My ears keeping ringing and I keep going light-headed. Tried lying on the sofa but that just made the sickness worse! Only thing that helps is sitting up and drinking water.

I would take some ibruprofen or paracetmol, especially if you've got a temperature.
Something like Cystirn (I think it's called ) for the cysitis as you don't want it to get to your kidneys. If you feel really bad I would call dh back and get him to pick up something from a pharacy on the way home tbh

Flumpybumpy · 22/12/2006 19:35

He brought me home some Cystopurin earlier but haven't had any as it smells revolting and I am close the throwing up as it is.

Sorry, just feel so crap and now a bit weepy. Hopefully I can shake this before Xmas.

awww I know how u feel flumpy, havent got all the above , but had a stinking horrid week. BIG sympathys for you this eve , it sucks when dh's go out when u feel low already.

I really don't mind him going out, he has been looking forward to it for ages as loads of old work mates are going and they all haven't had pint together for ages.

Just wish I could crawl into bed and sleep. My Mum lives over 60miles away and Dad over 100 so can't even call them to help me out.

Will go straight to bed as soon as DS fed, might wake him a little earlier than 10:30 so I can crash out.

Thanks for listening

ahh yes the dreaded 10:30 - 11 bottle , thats why I dont like dh going out when ill or totally zapped, other than that it means quiet MN time or I can zap tv all night or get into bed and eat chocs and read a book !

Flumpybumpy · 22/12/2006 19:52

Oooooo the chicken soup sounds nice, my belly just rumbled, hopefully with hunger and not another symptom to make me worse.

Oh goodness and I thought that my day as going pretty badly with ds2 with a possible chest infection, the death of ds1's rabbit this afternoon, me with a streaming cold and then to top iot off, AF arrived for me too.

Hugs, I hope that you are soon wrapped up in bed and that you are better before Christmas morning

Flumpybumpy · 22/12/2006 21:55

10pm bottle coming up then bed!!! Although Richard hammond is on Johnathon Ross so might watch that tucked up in bed. He can put a smile on my face.

Still feel shite but not been sick so thats a bonus. It's probably all down to exhaustion, I think my body has just had enough and is telling me so!
