Advice needed about infant Gaviscon

My ds has been sick after most feeds for the past 3 weeks, he is 17 weeks old and is exclusively breast fed, sometimes he is sick straight after or during eating which is pale and milky and some times he can be a while after feeding which is usually the 'cottage cheese' type sick. I went to the dr yesterday and told him about the problem I was having. He prescribed infant gaviscon which is fine but a pain to keep making up, he advised 1 sachet after each feed. I feed more than 6 times in 24hrs so I can't give it to him after each feed as he'd be overdoseing on it. Can I make up 6 doses up in the morning and keep them to hand and give one pre made bottle of sachet to him after every other feed or do I have to make them up as I need them?

Any advice or suggestions? TIA

No help with how or when I'm affraid - only to say that my ds was given infant gaviscon and it didn't help ne jot! We gave up with it in the end.

Hopefully someone will be along sooner to help!

I did this, it was an absolute PITA.
Ds did exactly the same, he was so pukey and he cired all the time. Well he stopped crying at 4 months but he's still sick.
I tried the gaviscon because I really believed he had reflux. I gave up in the end because I wasn't sure if it was working - he carried on puking.
Goodluck with it. I would make it up everytime tbh, I don't think you'll make it any easier for yourself.

Like you, I fed more than six time a day. I gave it at roughly 4 hourly intervals and coincided it with a feed.

Good luck

Oh pig! I'll have to make it up as I go along then - bum! I'm hoping that it will ease his sickness but aware that it might not help much. He had 2 doses yesterday and that did seem to help, I've not given it to him yet today as he slept most of the morning and has only had a few feeds I also wanted to come on here first for advice, He has been sick several times without it.
