What can I expect from a Macmillian Nurse?

My Dad is quite poorly again (lung cancer and now a second brain growth

The Macmillian nurses have been conspicuous by their absence ; we have a named nurse we haven't met and have spoken to 2 or 3 times in 20 months

When we ring for help we get no calls back or response at all

Is it a funding thing? Should we be looking for help from other sources?

S'OK Louisa - I'm prob not very coherent

I may have found someone to put up a curtain rail & we are looking for curtains

I have managed to arrange to borrow a folding screen for the other side of the space

Just to say keep putting one foot in front of the other, let yourself have a wobble when you need to, it sounds like you're keeping yourself busy with all the practical stuff.
Its hellish though isn't it. Wine
IME its the district/community nursing team who really coordinated things, stepped things up care-wise when needed etc.
