Help, my DS teething and nothing works!!!

I have a 17 week DS who just begun teething.I have tried the parsons powder, and the homeopathic powder.Also have tried the cold teething rings and the cold cloth, but as he is too young to hold them, he just gets more frustrated! He is always upset, poor little thing.
Does anyone know how long this will last?

sorry, my DD1 is 15 weeks and is teething but has responded really well to the Nelson's Teetha Granules. They calmed her down straight away after being a bit hysterical. Have you tried any Calgel?

Thanks for replies asleep and looplopey.Things seem much better now as my DS seems to responding to the Ashton and parsons powder, yeah!!! what a relief.

DD is teething too. Apparently Calpol can upset baby tummies so the other painkiller can help. Apparently babies' tummies are getting ready to eat proper food, which is how the homeopathic powders work - I think they calm the tummy. Dd responds to teething powders but not to Calpol.
