hi, my DD1, 15 weeks old, has a really bad loose cough. had it for 4 days. i've put water on top of the radiators so that there's some moisture in the air but that's it!
she's still happy and giggling, but i'm worried that i'm not paying it enough attention - should i be taking her to the doctor? what should i be doing?

Try running a v. hot bath and close bathroom windows and doors. Sit in the steamy room with DD for 1/2 hour or so. I found this helped with DS2.

Does she have a temperature? Is she still drinking her milk well? If she does have a temperature, or goes off her milk, or gets worse in any way, then take her to the doctor, even if it means phoning an emergency doctor over the weekend, as 15 weeks is still very little and there are some nasty bugs around, and you wouldn't want to take any risks.

If she's happy and giggling, these are really good signs.

Mine have horrible coughs too, DS seemed to cough for hours last night so I ended up bringing him in with me.

Its ever since we got the central heating.

hi belgo, no temperature, but not so great on the milk. normally has 6fl oz, but is only managing 5fl oz. or am i being overdramatic!? she's normally a ravenous feeder and she just doesn't seem so interested... she's also super sleepy, which i guess is a good thing, getting her rest.
if she's no better in a day or two i think i will take her to the dotor. thanks for your advice.
