There are about 200 different types of brain tumours unfortunately. My son had a medullablastoma at aged 16. It was very aggressive and he died at age 18.

My cousin had a very aggressive astrocytoma at age 26. He was told he would not survive. It came back three times. He is now 49 and still in remission.

It will be a hideous shock to your sister and your family. What type it is will determine her treatment and success rates. If you think I can answer any questions please feel free to ask me. I wish you all love and strength as you face this . Xx
