dd just got out of bath and has red rash under arms, along arms and on tummy and sides?
she has over last couple of days developed chicken pox type spots, but i personally think these are from viral infection as shes really bunged up and this always seems to be one of the first signs, but not the rash(she has already had chicken pox twice!)???

when i check, is it supposed to disapear or remain under glass?

do you have an out of hrs service you can call for your local gp?

LoveMyGirls · 14/12/2006 19:02

cant you take her to new doc or a&e?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/12/2006 19:04

measles?

bundle · 14/12/2006 19:04

if they're going to take that long, keep an eye on the temp, the rash and your dd - it's as much about how the child is as the appearance of a rash - and if you're not happy take her to a&e

VeniVidiVickiQV · 14/12/2006 19:07

get a felt tip and mark where the rash stops.

Then you can see in half an hour how much it has spread.

StrawberrySnowflakes · 14/12/2006 19:31

its gone????
dried her from bath(was not hot, so wasnt that)
just put her in her pants, no creams or pyjamas and gave her 10ml of infnat paracetamol??!!
chicken pox type are still there and very red/angry looking but the rash has totally disapeared??
