I have gout in the big toe of my right foot. Hurts like buggery. Been taking anti-inflamms from doctor for the last two days. No noticeable change so far. Paracetamol only helping with pain when I keep seated for a while but I can't sit down much as I have a largely manual job. Every step is awkward agony. Thankyou.

Poor you, that's so painful!
I know DH says he has to drink plenty, cherry juice is recommended. Are you following a gout diet?

Thanks Sauvignon. No, I don't know what a gout diet is. Doctor gave me the naproxen and said to take with paracetamol for the pain.
