am on my 2nd course of antibiotics and if anything am feeling worse today with this chest infection in one lung.

crackly sounding wheeze when i breathe and worse when I move around getting a bit breathless and tired as well when moving.

should I drag myself back to doctors?

What antibiotic and how many days have you had it? (Not a medic but unfortunately an expert on all things chest infection). You sound bad and I'd probably get back to the doctors to make sure you are on the right meds.

am on Doxycycline. will go to doctors in morning. wanted to be back at work on friday.

you need to go sooner if you get worse

If you are on your own overnight I'd phone the non emergency number for advice. If you have someone else in the house who can keep an eye on you then go to the doctor tomorrow.

am on my 3 prescription of antibiotics, signed off work for another week, and instructions to go to hospital over weekend if it gets worse.

am feeling horrible. waiting for new drugs to kick in!

Doxycycline can be great but some of the others are really good too - co-amoxyclav is the business

Hope you feel better soon. I also needed three lots a few years ago. The third one felt like oven cleaner fizzing in my lungs and did the trick.
