Baby is lopsided!

Can anyone help? Our beautiful baby girl, now 3.5 months old, appears to put her head to one side when sitting and when put into her baby bouncer is definitely lopsided. Her back appears OK and she is developing normally but I'm so worried about this. A friend said it could be infantile scoliosis which tends to rectify itself in very young babies but I'm worried sick.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Sorry Amandella, I don't know what this could be, but I am sure someone will be along very soon who knows what this is or could suggest something useful.

I would talk to your health visitor or take her to the doctor and ask about it. I am sure it is nothing to worry about and I hope all is ok.

Amandella - our ds did this a bit and also shook his head a lot like he had water in his ear
I was worried but the doc couldn't find anything wrong and he's fine now (nearly 7 months). Hope it works out ok for you - definitely worth checking but hope that helps a bit

My friends baby had exactly the same thing. The baby was given physiotherapy (Sp) as it was noticed early enough (about the same age as your baby) and now at 18 months the problem is a lot better. My friend also had it as a baby/ child/teenager and everyone thought she was just shy and held her head to one side. At about 20 she had an operation to right the problem ...
