DD (19mths) has chicken pox. She's fine in herself but her bottom is covered in spots. As she's still in nappies how can I make her more comfortable and avoid any infection please.

if she does a poo i would bath her to make sure she is clean as possible

calamine lotion is very very good, use liberally

vaseline can be a good barrier between the pox and wee/poo

Vaseline !!! I had't thought of that. She's been calamined and bathed in sodium bicarb and had piriton and Nurofen. (Phew). Hopefully she'll be like her big sister and have it quite lightly.
Thanks
