teething- what can i do to help

ds seems to be teething, well i think he is anyway. he is chewing his hands constantly and if he chews mine he bites down really hard. hes dribbling, red cheeks and for the fast 3 days has just been grouchy.
whats the best thing to give him, hes only 18 weeks and i have a feeling this could go on for a while.

these chews that you put in the fridge to soothe the gums are pretty good

calpol teething gel or bongela

and a bottle of calpol in case of bad nights

but sometimes just feeding baby is the best painkiller and soother

oh, and hers a barrowload of patience for yourself
