lump

yesterday i had pain all day in my boob,felt like i was full of milk(i havent bf for 10 months)and i was in agont.woke up with lump swolen side near boob and more pain.hurts to move my arm etc.doc says shes not sure what is maybe an infection but said it was very odd place to have it.she gave me xtra strong antibiotics to try which make me sick!any ideas.

couold it be mastitis(sp?) kept thinking of this yeaterday but couldnt think of what it was called, my mum used to suffer with it when i was younger, have a look here link hope this helps.

thanks,sorry took so long to reply,been very sick(d and v and fainting)on tablets.still am but less so!doctor did say if i had been bf she thought it looked like mastitis but that link says you dont have to be bf.?swelling and redness gone down but lump still there.got to finish antibiotics,which i keep bringing up!and go back if lump is still there.
