Help! Heavy bleed after lifting - Severe Endometriosis & Cyst

I've had a bit of a fright.

I have severe Endo and a large Chocolate cyst (waiting for surgery). I am just at the tail end of my period, had a few days of heavy bleeding at the beginning of the week and then it had got down to just some spotting with old blood last night.

Today, I didn't wear any sanitary protection because I was sure it was over. Then today at work I lifted a computer screen off the floor. It hurt a bit, my cyst generally hurts all the time but there was a bit more of a twinge. Then I realised I was bleeding heavily with fresh blood.

I then had some severe cramping, but no pain since. The blood is still heavy with clots an hour later.

I'm frightened - is this normal, or have I ruptured something I shouldn't have? I'm home from work, on the sofa with a hot water bottle (and a dog on my feet!), so I'm ok just worried...

You need to get checked out by a Dr in case it is your cyst rupturing. Is there a health line you can ring for advice? I am not in the UK so I don't know what it's called now. Hope you are ok.

Thank you - I haven't had any more pain, but still some fresh blood. But not much. So I'll keep an eye on it today.

I think if my cyst had ruptured I'd be in a lot of pain - so perhaps it was just a blood vessel or something? No idea.

I'm pretty sure if I rang the non-emergency health line they'd tell me to go to hospital, but I feel fine.
