About 6 weeks ago I had a raging toothache and ended up paying 400 pounds for root canal to 1 tooth and it is only half done. The rest is due to be done tomorrow and I have just been told today that the nhs dentist up the road will take me so rest of work will be free. Now I need to cancel with the private dentist and I feel bad but dp says as we can't really afford private I should jump at the chance of free. What do you think? And will the dentist charge me anyway?

There will probably be a cancellation charge if nothing else but you'd be quids in anyway.

Will it be free though? It will certainly be less than private but imagine you'll have to pay something.

dogwalker · 13/05/2004 19:51

Go for it Noddy. There'll still be some to pay but much less than private.

I tried to change to nhs during rc but no dentist would take me. They said it was unethical if halfway through. Go for it if you can.

is there 24 hours before the cancellation time? with oyr dentist if you cancel with notice you don't have to pay anything, or is it 48 hours not sure?
