i have two wisdom teeth on the top, the one gave me no problems at all, i'd had a tooth out and it grew in its place. now i have one growing the other side (it has been for a long time actually), this last week my mouth has been really sore and when i looked at the tooth, there's no room for it or so it appears, my other teeth seem to be pushed forward slightly. every time i close my mouth im chewing my gum and cheek. so will the dentist want to pull it out and if so can i persuade him to pull out the one in front of it (which has seen better days). ahem...just want to be prepared...not a fan of the dentist . anyone know what he'll want to do about it?

Same happened to me, no room for the tooth and it pushed the front 2 together. I finally cracked and went to the dentist and he took it out there and then. It was fine, so much better than I expected.

Dentist also told me that top ones are much easier to extract than bottom ones so that is in your favour. Go for it!

I put up with sometimes discomfort and sometimes pain fro wisdom teeth. Got them out ( a bit sore but not as bad as I expected) and wish I had had it done much sooner.

it's quick and painless. Just a bit noisy.
