DD has to have a sweat test to see if she has CF

Had phone call from doctor about an hour ago, have to go to hopsital on Wednesday morning when the next clinic is

Someone come and tell me it will be Ok please

She is great today, as if she was never ill.

They've prescribed her pumps to take morning and night until March to prevent another incident like this one. Then they will x-ray her chest.

Yes she likes the pumps, she counts with me to 10 and we've put fairy stickers on them.

oh fabulous!!!! Counting helps loads - did with DD too. Even DS tries to do it now

DD had her blood test today too! She was brilliant - didnt fuss or moan or anything. The lovely lovely nurse (who looked scarily like the HR woman in Green Wing), gave her a pressie on her way out - a shrek character toy!!!!

Great news WB!!

They were going to test ds after his pneumonia too - they haven't done it yet but are still following him due to his weight but otherwise he has no symptoms.

I suppose you've got to think at least they are checking these things - better than ignoring it.
