have recently started to worry about this.

my symtoms are: tingling scalp and hands, slight numbness in my left heel (could be my imagination? is v v slight),vertigo.

i have a history of labyrinthitis, so am used to balance problems, but am starting to think it's a symtom of something else.

what else... slightly odd feelings of arousal, at times (hasnt happened for months, tho)

my doc says the tingly is unlikely to be MS in the absence of other symptoms. ( when i went to see her last week, my balance was ok, so i didnt mention it).

i'm really worried. what dyou think?????anyone with similar experience???

Noonar, if you are concerned, you should persue it with your GP.

I eventually got so stressed about a potential diagnosis that my speech became affectedn but it was just the stres making it worse.

Go and get checked out if you can.

I get tingling in my left arm and hand, also in my left leg/foot. Had an MRI scan which was clear. I think the leg and arm are unrelated in my case and that I have sciatica in my lowerb ack affecting my leg, and a trapped ulna nerve in my arm. But my GP was concerned it was MS, I was pretty sure it wasn't.

Since the MRI I had nerve conduction studies - am still waiting for results which I expect/hope to be abnormal.

Good luck - it can be other things. Did the gp do a blood test - tingling can be Vit B12 DEFICIENCY.

You can be 100% assured that your GP was in no way responsible for interpreting your scan. All scans are looked at by a Radiologist (specialist in interpreting Xrays, scans etc.) Your GP will have been given a report of his or her findings which were then related to you.

thanks everyone .

it's reassuring to know that about my GP, christmas.

i've noticed slight numbness in my left little finger and palm this week. also had a little tingle in my left cheek. my vertigo hasnt been so bad the last couple of days.

sometimes i think it's just a matter of time before getting more obvious symptoms, at other times, i think it's 90% anxiety. it's really helped to know that diagnosis takes a while. if there was a quick way to diagnose, i'm sure i'd have booked myself in at a private clinic by now, as i'm pretty impatient and tend to want answers straight away.

pollyanna and noddy, are you still going on saturday?
