Burning mouth and tongue

Has anyone had hand foot and mouth? What are the symptons of the mouth bit? My tongue is burning with small ulcers on it

My dad had it - ironically, he caught it from DD when I took her to my parents for some help when she was ill, and he was the one person who didn't do nappy changes - and he complained most about the burning mouth.

I get that but it's from grinding/ clenching teeth while I'm asleep??
