Can you help perk me up a bit?

Remember when you were little and you'd been ill? Your mum would give you minadex or something to help you bounce back?! Well I haven't been ill but I feel somewhat washed out lately and in need of a good old fashioned "tonic". Can anyone suggest anything to give me a bit of bounce back?
I don't think I'm anaemic or anything, its just some days, everything seems to require a bit more energy than I have - I'm alright once I get going, its the getting going thats the problem.
I thought there might be something in Holland and Barratt but I was a bit overwhelmed by the range!
Any idea's?
Thanks

My friend gave me something in a bottle from there and u put a few drops on your tongue.

Rescue remedy?

I've been feeling a bit like that lately and then came across a new vitamin range by Matt Roberts. There's a pack especially targeted to give you more energy (called "Energy Pack" ironically) and it's really good. I've been taking it this week and feel much better.

I think he may have a website which lists outlets where you can get ahold of it.

Hope that helps

You need Floradix, Lisa! Iron and herbal tonic, brilliant post-birth but as a pick-me up any time too. Highly recommended - drink it in a small glass of orange juice if the flavour doesn't appeal. Hope you get your zing back soon.

Theres something called 'Floridix' that you can get form H and B and Boots etc which a friend of mine used after a series of bugs etc. I think its like a liquid vitmain mix and she describes it as bit like an old fashioned tonic. OIm sure theyd be able to tell u more about it in H and B.

Berrocca is supposed to be very effective and I have seen it in supermarkets, Boots, etc. Also very good for hangovers, apparently!

my dh had floradix - tablets, I think - when he had a chest infection last year and needed 2 lots of antibiotics to clear it, i think it did help.

You could try Biostrath. Thats a swiss herbal tonic, and I used to be given it as a kid.

I was surprised to find it's still sold, and had some last year after all my ops and stuff, could be worth a try.

Can you get access to a natural sunlight lamp (not tanning, just something to increase the light getting into your system)? As we're not getting much by way of natural sunlight so far this year, it might buck you up a bit.
