I'm mortified writing this but who cares.

Whenever I get my period, I'm fine for the first day. After that, I get something which to me looks like nappy rash round my back passage. (I'm so embarressed at the moment). I've tried different sanitary towels but it doesn't make much difference. I use tampons but have towels for extra security while at work (I wear white overalls).
Does anyone else get this? I'm tempted towards a mooncup but white overalls and a bunch of blokes would not be good if I sprung a leak.
Any help much appreciated. I'm now off to hide in the corner in my embarressed state.

I used to get a sort of sweat rash when I used towles. Get yourself a mooncup and just use a panty liner for added security if you're worried about leaks. Then you don't get that sweaty uncomfortable rash.

See someone always has the same thing!!

towels, not towles

Thank you so much. Will get one when I get a nice fat stack of advantage card points after Christmas.

Why can't I have navy blue overalls!

I have several pairs of white trousers and had my first af for years (just had a coil removed) I have trouble with towels & tampons and on this occasion I sprung a leak luckily the one male in the office was out so managed to go home to change without too much embarassment (sp?) I now have a mooncup and feel confident that I won't leak! especially after I threw myself round a hockey pitch using it!

sudacreme! My dh getsa chaffed arse and thats what we use works wonders and can prevent as well as cure!

Ooh yes Sudocrem! Dh does a lot of long distance cycling and gets a sore bot, sweaty rash and swears by sudocrem.

A mooncup is a reusable cup sort of thing... there are tons of threads on here and we have been fairly evangelical on the subject! There is also a mooncup website.

grapefruit seed extract is great for rashes like this.
