hi guys
not been on for a while due to bad pain and confsusing cycles but after visiting my gp again they have put me on Norethisterone a hormone tablet to help my cycle to hopefully return to normal
i have to take them 3 times aday for 21 days then a 5 day break then repeating again
what i wanted to know is someone told me if i continue TTC while on this medication i could result in multiple pregnanacy is this true
also if i was to take a pg test whiule on these tablets would the result be accurate for example could it give me a false positive
hope someone can help otherwise il have to embaress myself in the chemist
my gp knows that i have been ttc and that i was previuosly on depo for 2 years which only ran out in may and that i have been ov testing since july without any +ve results
i also understand that it can take up to a year for normal fertilty to return ater being on the depo jab but my gp lead me to believe that this medication was to start off my ovulation and to get me into a normal cycle/routine
also what i dont understand is if this medication is used to prevent ovulation (which i discovered from the paper work)why would i need to use an addtional method of contraception
please please please someone help as im getting really confused and getting in to a state about it
