Thrush - In a 18 month old - Advice Needed Please.

Help please - my daughter who is 18 months old has thrush really bad, i thought it was nappy rash but nursery have told me its thrush. Will the chemist be able to give me anything like canisten cream at her age or do i need to go to the doctors to get something?

add 5 drops of grapefruit seed extract to 4 ounces of water and use the solution to wipe babys bottom after changing her nappy using silk wipes. also silk inside the nappy can help?
