6 year old tight foreskin.

My 6 year old son cannot pull his foreskin back at all and I am wondering if this is normal. I do not want to try in case i hurt him but i don`t know if i should be concerned. Please advise me!

Hi Romany, my ds1 is 10 and still can't pull his foreskin back properly (I only know as he shows me sometimes - yuk). Apparently it doesn't always happen until the child reaches puberty and even beyond and I think that unless the penis becomes sore or it hurts to wee there's nothing to worry about. If anyone knows any different please post as I'm interested to know that I'm doing the right thing by him.

Thanks! He doesnt have any pain with it so he must be ok. Ill just keep an eye on him.

my nephew also has this - spotted at his preschool health check. The GP says he has to stretch it by pulling it back every night, once he has been in the bath for 10 mins or so. He can't belive he's been given the green light by a doctor to play with it
