How long without pooping is normal in an 8 month old? That sounds abit better.

That's a long time if on solids. Freshly squeezed orange juice is best cure for constipation.

ooh J is the same - he didn't go for one day (yes only one) and we've had 3 nappies 2 yesterday one today which were tarrish and a little bit softer today, so be prepared! lol _DH says today's one was a real monster of a poo! lol.

Dd can also go for days at a time without dirty nappies. She too is bf and is 8mths old. She is the original queen of farts.

Depends how much solids he's having. If he's mostly just breastfed, then this is fine. If he's on solids, then you may find he's constipated. If his poo, when it comes, is in small lumps and looks like rabbit poo, then he's constipated, and it's worth doing what you can to relieve it. (Orange juice, prune juice, lots of water)

ok, thank you. Ill try orange juice. Freshly squeezed from a carton ok? I dont have a squeezer thingy. Does he have it neat? Or diluted? Thank you xxx
