3 year assessments?

Does anyone know what's happened to the 3 year assessments (actually I think it's something like the 39-42 month review)? My DD had one whe she was 3 and a bit - they ask can she run, kick a ball, get her to build a tower of 8 blocks, draw a few shapes etc. Cause DS was 3 in June and I've not heard a word about it for him. Have they stopped doing them - does anyone know?

They appear to of stopped them in my area. It is apparently because many parents weren't turning up for them.

We got sent a leaflet basically asking us if they could do the things you mention then asked to phone if they couldn't so they could make an appointment to see you
