Menstruation

My period has finished but i still have a slight brown discharge should i be worried. I wondered if i might have an infection as i had a smear at the beginning of the month and they couldnt find my cervix and had to fiddle around to find it

I always have a brown discharge before my period starts and when its finishing but after that it stops.

Not sure if thats good advice though.

I think this is quite normal as long as you don't have any other symptoms such as a change in your cervical mucous etc. As for them not being able to find your cervix, everyone's is positioned slightly differently so again I don't think this is a cause for concern. If you are worried speak to your practice nurse.
