Does this sound like some sort of migraine?

Sudden onset, feeling of travel sickness, sensation of wearing a slightly too small alice band, loss of spatial awareness on one side (unable to find gearstick/clutch pedal in car, had to pull over and allow someone else to drive) unable to walk without having to think about how to do it, lights hurt eyes.

The sensation of tightness in the head passed quickly, the nausea took a little longer to go but the strange loss of spatial awareness lasted for the rest of the evening.

Yes, but if you haven't had a migraine before, you do need to go to the GP to be checked out

Sounds like migraine with aura. Agree with CMOT.

Sounds like the type of migraine I suffer with. I also 'forget' how to speak.
If it's the first time though, please see a doctor.
Get well soon.
