Had custoscopy 3 weeks ago. Now I can't feel when bladder is full.

Hello. I had a cystoscopy 3 weeks ago. Since then I can't feel if my bladder if full. I was having cystoscopy as I have pelvic pain. I don't know if this is damage from the cystoscopy or connected to my pelvic pain. Was suggested a problem with the sacral nerves. Having MRI Friday. It strange it stadted after custoscopy. It was very sore/rough.

when you say 'their group' do you mean your drs practice?
Unlikely they would use electrodes- did you mis hear?
Maybe what they meant is you would have a urodynamics test but TBH if you had your investigation done privately, which you said you had, then why aren't you going back to the hospital and having this done there?

The urology group. I said to him how else do you think it happened. All sticking together. I just hope I get sensation back before the test. He did say electrodes so that they can check the nerves.

Look up urodynamics test. That's probably what he means.

I still don't understand why if you have private health cover you are being passed from pillar to post like this instead of you asking to see another uro or gynae. Are you being treated privately? (You said you were in other posts.)

You can see any dr you want with private insurance all your Gp has to do is write a letter for you.

Why have you not been to see your GP to discuss this?

My GP is arranging for me to see a consultant & he is calling me back tomorrow to discuss the best options to move forwards. It is a lot to take in when I still have my original problem & have to deal with this as well

I'm hoping it is just maybe bruising & will slowly return.
