Dd's been a bit poorly lately, so I took her to the docs on Wednesday, and she said "yes, her ears look bad....buy this and come back in a couple of days if she's still bad"

I took it to mean the prescrip was for some injection which she would give if the infection didn't go away on its own. She didn't, she meant give her the medicine and bring her back if it doesn't work.

(I was very annoyed at this - she could have put it more clearly). Plus I'm now paranoid - you may remember she was in hospital for 2 weeks with mastoiditis in Jan.

Anyway now dd is on quite hefty-dose antibiotics (she's on the dose recommended for children with middle ear infections or a particular problem - double the normal dose). She has to have 2 doses a day and she had the first at 3pm today.

What i want to know is, is it OK to give her the second dose tonight? Or should I wait till the morning?
