Full details of the scan show that my sweetheart has a mass in the abdomen, and 'cysts' on the liver. As yet they don't know if it is recurrance of the seminoma he had 12 years ago, of a lymphoma from his cll.

So awful, he is so brave and deserves so much more than this.

I have followed your previous thread and am so sorry it isn't better news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and if there is anything I can do to help(although I doubt there is) I would love to.

FWIW my ds, 13 yrs ago (after long drawn out and cross-making misdiagnoses) was told he had an abdominal mass 8ins in diameter, plus metasteses on his lungs and liver. After biopsy it was confirmed as tertiary stage teratoma (as opposed to seminoma that I think you have said your ds had). He had chemo and surgery (came away one kidney lighter amongst other things) but is now in full remission.
Medicine has come such a long way since then, and so much is possible, so don't give up, and try and absorb all the positive vibes coming from MN.

MB - so very sorry to hear this. You have been in my thoughts all day and will continue to be. We found out that my MIL's cancer has returned today too so I understand how you must be feeling.
